The Heart and Stroke Foundation, a volunteer-based health charity, leads in eliminating heart disease and stroke and reducing their impact through the advancement of research and its application, the promotion of healthy living and advocacy.

The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada is a federation of 10 provincial Foundations, led and supported by a force of more than 130,000 volunteers.

The Heart&Stroke Big Bike is a team event geared towards community organizations, companies and groups. Teams are made up of 29 enthusiastic riders committed to raise a minimum of $50 each driver and riders pedal through downtown Vancouver in support of heart disease and stroke research.

At the event, the Vision team handed out refreshments to bikers and provided moral support.
